I love listening to your stories. A recent recurring theme is a trip to Mars. Twice now when I’ve picked you up from school, you’ve regaled me with a version of this story. It’s come up other times, too.
You’re very creative; the stories have lots of details about getting on an airplane and flying over all the houses and all the things you do with your friends. I paraphrase parts of the story back to you, so you know I’m really listening. I like to ask questions about what colors things are, too, and if it’s cold or hot on Mars. You answer readily, with no hesitation. You have such a wonderful imagination!
